Some other more exciting news comes just a few days ago. Checking through the official Pligg CMS gallery it was quickly noticed that Source Canvas has been included. The submission ranged about a month or two back when our team first completed the template design.

This is fantastic news! Surely more web developers and app programmers will start to migrate onto the site. Even though we have set it up using invite-only registration it’s still possible to view all the articles and votes. This means anybody can go through the most popular stories and even sort them by category(HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, PHP, Objective-C, etc.).

We have heard of some real fantastic stuff coming out of the developers for Pligg CMS. We love their social community modules and interactivity between members of the many different Pligg websites.

Well for early March 2012 we have an exciting new product launch. Source Canvas is based off the old retro-themed Digg layout. The new site is a community-driven social news sharing center for the latest articles in web development, design, programming, and mobile. All of the hottest trends will be hitting the front page of Source Canvas.

So over the past day we’ve been updating some things on Snoggle News. Namely we have been running on Hosting24 for almost a year and unfortunately we’ve been crashing A LOT. Thus, I figure it’s time we finally graduate to some big boy hosting. Snoggle News has been pulling in almost 200k pageviews monthly and things aren’t slowing down!

Oh happy days rejoice yet again! As of yesterday, June 11 2011, we have noticed that Snoggle News is now listed within Pligg’s gallery. This is just fascinating news. I for one am very excited as this means we’ll be experiencing some great potential.

It’s not easy for Pligg websites to “make it” on the Internet these days. You not only need a great domain, but you also need custom branding and design. The templates offered by Pligg are pretty nice. Yet they just cannot compare to a custom layout created out of love, care, time, patience, and dedication. We’ve mixed all of these ingredients into one delicious concoction of snoggle stew.

So Pligg CMS has released a great set of updates recently. This came packaged as release candidate 1.1.4. This means Snoggle News has been given a brand new look too. We’ve included some new pages, brand new submission system which makes it a lot easier to sub screenshots. Also we’ve upped the limit for descriptions, so feel free to add in as much as you’d need.

So we’ve launched our newest venture Snoggle Media with awe-inspiring results. After hitting the books and keeping our nose to the grindstone for hours we’ve finally released the greatest achievement of our lives.
