So over the past day we’ve been updating some things on Snoggle News. Namely we have been running on Hosting24 for almost a year and unfortunately we’ve been crashing A LOT. Thus, I figure it’s time we finally graduate to some big boy hosting. Snoggle News has been pulling in almost 200k pageviews monthly and things aren’t slowing down!
For now I’ve moved us into a premium Fat Cow plan. This has proven buggy, and currently users are unable to submit stories into the site(updated December 7, 2011). We are working our hardest on this problem and hope things will be up and running soon.
Since we moved hosts it seemed like a good time to update with Pligg 1.2.0. All of our core features are still up and running including the new Snoggle TV beta pages. If you haven’t checked out any of our streaming video I highly recommend it. We’re constantly updating so you’re sure to find something interesting!
Secret Project Launch…
Without spilling the beans too much we will be launching a new project in the coming weeks. With the new FatCow host I’ve acquired another domain name we can setup. The plan is to install a 2nd Pligg social news community based on web design, development, programming, etc.
